When asked to explain what a PIM does to family and friends, I often get the response “Yeah but what’s the point of a PIM?”
That might say more about my inability to explain technical concepts than the lack of benefits, but I recently stumbled across this product whilst doing some DIY work.
For those not familiar with the metric system, I’m sure the product should be 5m long, which would make it 500cm or 50,000mm. (about 15ft). However because it’s listed as 50,000m this equates to 50km (over 31 miles) of plastic, all for £2 (about $2.50)
Keeping track of erroneous values is easy with pimsimple. You can set rules to restrict the range of values, you can create notifications for values which might be entered in error and most importantly you can access, find, fix, update and upload your changes more quickly and easily than any other PIM on the market.
This time saving can be put to great use, for example, I’m off to my local DIY store to see if I can get 50km of plastic sleeving in a standard SUV…
